I made this piece as an exploration of how cows are perceived in different cultures, and society’s relationship to animals as a whole.

This painting was an exercise to try and use simple, yet bold brushstrokes to capture the essence of the moment.
This piece emerged from a desire to merge figurative and abstract forms. (there are some flaws in the .jpg, if needed I can retake pictures)

Digital Illustration
In Guam, an invasive species, the rhinoceros beetle, kills many of the island’s trees. I collage over images of trees to meditate on this loss.

I took this photo at the Palo Alto Caltrain station in the fall. I used black ink and a black and white filter to provide an “outside of time” look.

This is a picture a created from 40 raw pictures I took of the same fruit cup. Compiling all 40 images into one allowed me to show everything in focus
It’s a shame if you did not get around time to see Hoover Tower in different lights.
